Vegan Chickpea Burger

Ingredients
1 cup walnuts
1 cup oats
2 tbsp chia seeds + 5 tbsp water
1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained
1 small onion, roughly chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp vegan Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp taco seasoning
salt + pepper to taste
1 tsp olive oil
Your favorite burger toppings
Your favorite burger bun
Directions
In a food processor, blend walnuts and oats until fine. While those are blending, combine chia seeds and water and let sit for 5 minutes. Add in remaining ingredients except olive oil (adding the chia mixture last) and blend until a dough forms. The dough will seem sticky.
On a medium nonstick skillet, heat 1 tsp olive oil. Form chickpea batter into small patties and cook each side over medium heat for a few minutes or until they start to brown.
Serve burgers hot on your favorite toasted burger bun with your favorite burger toppings.
