Avocado Crema
This avocado crema (sin crema) pairs perfectly on any taco, burrito, or wrap, can be used as a dipping sauce for taquitos, and can be a topping for nachos or sandwiches, the list goes ON. It’s so creamy everyone will be shocked that there’s no dairy in this!
What is avocado crema made of?
It typically uses sour cream, mayo, or yogurt as the base, but this recipe highlights the avocado flavor by adding citrus and letting the flavors speak for themselves.
How does this sauce get creamy without cream?
Avocados themselves are super creamy, especially when they’re fresh and ripe. I wouldn’t recommend using old/browning avocados as that will make your crema taste…well, old and brown.
