Why use peanut butter instead of almond butter in smoothies?

I know the majority of smoothie places use almond butter instead of peanut butter, but personally, I absolutely love the taste of peanut butter. That’s not to say that almond butter doesn’t have it’s place, because it does, but I just prefer peanut butter.

Is peanut butter good for you?

Don’t get caught up in wondering whether or not peanut butter is good for you or not! Peanut butter is packed with protein and other nutrients and is perfectly fine to eat along with a well-balanced diet. Anything in excess (even things like cauliflower and carrots) are bad in excess or if it’s the only thing you eat, but I have yet to meet a person that only eats peanut butter all day, so don’t stress!
