Is hot chocolate better with milk or water?

Oh DEFINITELY better with milk. 100%. No questions asked. Every time. While the flavor is very similar when using water, it loses that creamy thick feel that most people expect and love in hot chocolate.

Is homemade hot chocolate easy to make?

You betcha! Homemade hot chocolate takes almost the same amount of time to make as dumping those storebought packets into your mug, yet you almost always have the ingredients at home, you control the amount of sweetener, plus you don’t have to have any preservatives or ingredients that you don’t want in it!

How do you make hot chocolate taste better or have more flavor?

I don’t mind having a plain hot chocolate that just relies on the cocoa powder for that chocolate flavor, but you can always add in a touch of cinnamon, nutmeg, or cloves to give it a nice addition. If you’re looking for a hot chocolate with a ton of flavor, try my Mexican-inspired hot chocolate.
