Easy Vegan Flourless Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar

Optional toppings:

  • Flaky sea salt

  • Nuts

  • Vegan ice cream

  • Hot fudge

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line 8x8 square brownie pan or round cake pan with parchment paper.

  2. Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender. Pour batter into prepped baking pan.

  3. Bake for 40 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove from oven. If brownie pan was used, cut into squares for individual pieces.

  4. Top with optional toppings. Enjoy warm!
