Ingredients
10-15 small/medium jalapeño peppers
16 oz herb plant-based cream cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
generous pinch of white pepper
generous pinch of salt
1/3 cup (packed) chopped scallions
1/4-1/2 cup gluten-free bread crumbs
2 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cut the jalapeños lengthwise*. Scoop out the insides and remove all seeds.
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Fold in scallions.
Scoop cream cheese mixture into jalapeños. Top with bread crumbs**.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until jalapeños are darker and wrinkled. Broil for 2-3 minutes to brown the tops.
Remove from oven. Serve immediately!
